Designed with Jenny Comperda as a place to set eyeglasses, a book, or a glass of water right at the edge of a couch. The round Pac Man Table's base is shaped to bite onto the end of a couch arm, wedging into place. Because the finished piece looked so much like the video-game character, Andrew built a matching rectangular-topped pair, Inky and Blinky, named for two of the game's ghosts.
Inky and Blinky's tops are reclaimed redwood from a Hollywood Hills home; their legs, like Pac Man's whole body, are reclaimed maple from the same rain-damaged SCI-Arc bench whose delaminated strips became the legs of the 69 Leg Coffee Table.
